Plummer Cemetery sets Memorial
The annual Plummer Cemetery Memorial service and business meeting will be Saturday morning, MAY 30 at 11 o’clock at the cemetery, which is located south of Mexia.
Oakes Cemetery Memorial set
The annual Memorial for the Oakes Cemetery in Limestone County, will be on Saturday, June 13. The business meeting will start at 10:45 a.m., with the Memorial service to begin at 11 o’clock. “Dinner on the grounds” follows. All persons interested in the cemetery are encouraged to attend.
Donations for upkeep of the Oakes Cemetery may be made to Mrs. Glenda Stallings at 295 LCR 840, Donie, Texas 75838.
Teague Chamber has Parkfest change
TEAGUE - The Teague Chamber of Commerce announces that all vendors scheduled for Oct. 17 on Parkfest weekend, should be advised that the date has been changed to Oct. 24. You may call the Chamber office for further information - at 739-2061.
Teague class seeks help!!!
TEAGUE - The Teague High School graduating class of 1959 is planning for its 50-year class reunion. “We have lost touch with some of our class members, and we need help in locating them to inform them of the reunion,” says Randall Beasley. You may contact him at (936) 545-5909 (cell phone), and give him the address and/or telephone numbers for contact purposes.

It is hoped that everyone may then be notified of the dates, location and time of the reunion..
