Myers/Brubaker engagement

Anthony Myers of Waco, and Mark and Cheryl McEndree of Troy, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Myers to Derek Brubaker, son of Phyllis Brubaker of Mexia, and Rodney Brubaker of Raton, New Mexico.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Tom and Alice Myers of Lorena and Don and June Summers of Crawford. Amanda is an account executive for Profiles International in Waco.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Daisy Brubaker and the late Rodney T. Brubaker, and Theda Oberholtzer and the late Bruce Oberholtzer, all of Mexia. Derek is employed with Schlumberger in Mexia.

The couple plans to exchange vows on August 9, 2008 at the Earle Harrison House and Pape Gardens in Waco.
