Miller-Winstead plan May wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Billy Miller Of Mexia are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Candace Miller to Jimmy Winstead, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert “Toad” Winstead of Groesbeck and Donna Winstead of Mexia.
The wedding will take place at the Activity Center at Fort Parker State Park on May 17, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Doris Miller and the late Mr. Leston Miller of Mexia and Mr. Jack Carlson and the late Dorothy Carlson of Groesbeck. She is a 2006 Mexia High School graduate. She attended classes last semester at TJC and is enrolled at Navarro Community College’s Mexia campus for the fall semester where she will be pursuing a degree in Nursing. Candace is currently employed with Geosearch Logging, Inc. of Fairfield.
The Groom-to-be is the grandson of Mrs. Grace Wilkins and the late Samuel “Don” Wilkins of Mexia and Mr. Wesley Winstead and the late Louise Copeland Winstead of Groesbeck. He graduated Mexia High School in 2004 and TSTC in 2006 with a certification in welding. Jimmy is currently employed with J7 construction of Fairfield.
The couple will honeymoon a week in Cozumel and reside with their daughter Riley in Mexia.
