Thompson/Kerzee engagement

Mickey and Slinda Childers of Teague and Donny Kerzee of Galveston would like to announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter, Shea Christine Kerzee, to Spc. Timothy Thompson. Spc. Thompson is the son of Bobby and Rene Thompson of Dew.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Teague High School and is presently attending Stephen F. Austin State University, where she is pursuing a career in nursing and plans to advance to nurse anesthetist.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Teague High School and currently serves our country in the Army National Guard.

Shea is the granddaughter of Buddy and Peggy Ballard of Teague, and Don and Sandra Kerzee of Galveston.

Tim is the grandson of Ray and Mary Sanders of Dew, as well as Wilma Thompson also of Dew and the late Bobby Thompson, Sr. of Manvel, Tx.

The wedding is set for Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Grace Tabernacle in Dew, and will be followed by a reception at the same location. The couple is registered at Cissy’s in Teague and at Wal-Mart.
