The search for a new Mexia ISD superintendent continues, with more interviews set for Monday evening.
“We’ve got two people coming in on Monday to interview,” said Lon Brown, MISD board president. “We’ve narrowed it down to the last two; these will be second interviews for both.”
He said he wasn’t certain when the board would make a final decision.
“I really don’t know – we’ll discuss it after we talk to those two,” he said. “And the board may decide to do something else, it just depends. We haven’t checked references yet, we don’t do so until we narrow it down.”
