Three people were arrested outside Teague in the follow-up to the capture Monday of a man charged with assaulting two game wardens in Limestone County Saturday.

Arrested by Texas game wardens about 8:30 p.m. Monday were Michael Duane Daniel, 44, of Fairfield; William A. “Trey” Davidson III, 37, of Teague and Tanja Marie Lee, 37, of Mexia.

The three were arrested after game wardens and other officers searched a trailer house about 2 miles southeast of Teague on FM 1451 in Freestone County, according to a press release from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department.

All three were charged with hindering the apprehension of a fugitive and possession of methamphetamine. Tuesday morning they remained in the Freestone County Jail in Fairfield. No bond had been set.
