Vivian Easterbrook Campbell, 86, of Mexia, passed away Oct. 8, 2013 at her residence. A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 11, at 10 a.m. at Porter Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. James Herrington officiating.

Mrs. Campbell was born Nov. 29, 1926 in Houlton, Maine to Emmons and Bernice Easterbrook Faulkner. She graduated high school in Maine and completed Navarro College School of Nursing. Vivian worked as an LVN for more than 30 years.
She was a member of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Campbell lived in Mexia since 1985 and previously in Fairfield from 1945 until moving to Mexia. She married Homer Jesse Robertson on Dec. 20, 1947 in San Antonio; he passed away June 13, 1982. She then married Ray Campbell on April 13, 1985; he passed away in February of 1999.

Vivian was preceded in death by her husbands; sons, Homer William Robertson & Carl Michael Robertson and two great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, James Emmons Robertson and wife, Doris of Fairfield; daughter Cathy Forbes, of DeSoto; stepsons James Campbell, of Rusk, and Mark Campbell of Salado; stepdaughter, Margaret Fitts, of Salado; daughters-in-law, Margaret Robertson of Fairfield and Susan Robertson of Tehuacana; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Providence Hospice of Mexia.
