Audrey ‘Nan’ Hardaway
Funeral services for Audrey L. “Nan” Hardaway will be held on Saturday Oct. 19, at 11 a.m., at First Independent Baptist Church, 703 G.W. Jackson Ave. in Corsicana.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 18, at Pearly Gates Funeral Home in Mexia from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. Another visitation will be held from 3 p.m. till 7 p.m. at Open Door Church of God in Christ, 1201 East 8th Ave. in Corsicana.
Audrey L. “Nan” Hardaway was born March 11, 1961, in Sidney, to the late Billy and Elvene Mays Hardaway. She received her formal education in the Mexia School District. She confessed a faith in Christ in her early life and united with Pilgrim Rest PBC, and later in life with Open Door Church of God In Christ as an active member of the usher board and choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Elvene Hardaway; a daughter, Terry Lynn Hardaway; and siblings Jerry Hardaway and Marie Hardaway.
She leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Billie Jr. (Rena) Hardaway, Harry B. Hardaway and Malcom R. Hardaway; two daughters, Lejuana V. Hardaway and Marie B. Hardaway; seven brothers, Johnny Lee Wright, Billy Hardaway, Otis O. (Vernell) Hardaway, Willie B. (Debra Kay) Hardaway, Robert E. (Debra) Adkinson, Mark (Pat) Hardaway and Ozar C. Hardaway; four sisters, Martha Nell Carter, Beulah M. Hardaway, Lucille Hardaway and Yvonne Hardaway; nine grandchildren and two special friends; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends,
