Johnny Ray Tudor Sr. was born Jan. 15, 1977. He passed away on Nov. 5, 2013, in Odessa.
He was a drilling supervisor for Nabors Drilling Company.
He is survived by three children, Johnny Jr., Megan and Emma Tudor; his wife, Janice Tudor; and numerous other family members and friends. He was a big-hearted man who did everything he could to help his family and friends. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as shooting his guns, drinking by the fire, and riding any off-road vehicle he could get his nub on.
He was a hard-working man who would do anything to provide for his family.
No matter how sad or angry you felt, his jokes and his laugh would always warm your heart. He was a great father, spouse, and friend and he will be sorely missed by everyone he knew.
When I’m Gone
When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile,
Just forget if you can that I ever frowned
And remember only the smile.
Forget unkind words I have spoken;
Remember some good I have done,
Forget that I ever had a heartache
And remember I’ve had loads of fun.
Forget that I have stumbled and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way.
Remember I have fought
Some hard battles and won,
Ere the close of the day.
Then forget to grieve for my going,
I would not have you sad for a day,
But in summer just gather some flowers
And remember the place where I lay.
And come in the evening
When the sun paints the sky in the west,
Stand for a few moments beside me
And remember only my best.
