The conference cutoff numbers were released on Monday, Dec. 2, for the 2014-16 reclassification and realignment. The new numbers given out by the University Interscholastic League include divisional cutoffs for football as plans have been made to increase the conferences to six.

Here is the breakdown:
6A – 2,100 and above
5A – 1,060-2,099
4A – 465-1,059
3A – 220-464
2A – 105-219
1A – 104.9 and below

In the current alignment for Conference 1A, Limestone County has only one school, Coolidge, that participates with 68.5 students enrolled. Coolidge should remain in Conference 1A in 2014-16.
