County makes more spring primary decisions

Limestone County commissioners court approved several resolutions at Monday’s meeting regarding the upcoming primary elections which were presented to the court by Deputy County Clerk Jennifer Johnson.
The court also recognized the County Clerk’s office for a state award it received earlier this month.
The first election resolution was between Limestone County and the local Democratic and Republican parties to hold the primary elections jointly.
The second and third resolutions were for the record and approved County Elections Officer Peggy Beck’s contracting with the respective party chairs to provide election services.
