Corry Ray Wiltse Owens
Funeral services for Corry Ray Wiltse Owens, 23, will be held Saturday, Jan. 25, at 1 p.m. at God's House of Prayer for all People, 202 S. First Street in Coolidge. Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 24, at Pearly Gates Funeral Home from 11 a.m. til 7 p.m., with Elder Billy Jack Freeman as eulogist.
Corry was born on July 18, 1990, in Temple, to Michael Ray Brooks Owens and Linda Kay Wiltse, and went to be with the Lord on Jan. 15, 2014, in Galveston, with family by his side.
He attended and was a member of First Baptist Church in Coolidge and accepted the Lord and Savior at a very young age. He loved to spend time with his family, ride horses, sing and dance. Corry never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face.
Those he leaves to cherish his memories most are his father, Michael Ray (Krissy) Brooks, of Tehuacana; mother Linda Kay Wiltse, of Coolidge, son Jayden Ray Wiltse, of Austin; sisters Katlyn Chappel, Maci Brooks and Kaylee Brooks; brothers Cameron Hunt, of Coolidge, and Michael Ray Brooks Jr., also of Coolidge; grandparents Betty and Stanley Owens, of Coolidge, Christine Hunt, of Coolidge, and the late David Hunt; a very dear friend, Clarence Ferrell; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
