The angelic hosts came for Walterine Robinson, 67, on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014 in the Fort Worth Manor Nursing Home among loving family and devoted friends.
Funeral services are Saturday, Feb. 15, at 10 a.m. at Head Branch Missionary Baptist Church, 605 McClintic St. in Groesbeck. Rev. Sean A. Taylor, pastor, St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Euless, will officiate. Interment will follow at Zion Rock Cemetery in High Bank.
Walterine Preciphs Robinson was the eldest of two children born to Walter Edward and Ethel Jewel Preciphs on Oct. 18, 1946 in Groesbeck.
She attended Groesbeck Public Schools which include Blackshear Elementary and Washington High School. Walterine accepted Christ at an early age at Head Branch Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor N.C. Williams.
Walterine was united in holy matrimony to Joe Robinson and to this union was born a son, Joe Earl Robinson, who now resides in Burleson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Walterine is survived by her only son, Joe Earl Robinson; sister, Bernadette Boldware and her beloved brother-in-law Lorenzo Boldware Jr., of Euless; her niece, LaTosha Boldware Allen of DeSoto; nephew, Andre’ Boldware (Nadiya) of Fairview; great-nieces Lauren, Raven and Julianna; great-nephew Anderson; and host of other relatives and friends to include her only surviving uncle, T.J. Washington (Minnie) of Waco.
