Both the varsity boys and girls track teams finished second overall at the 19-3A district track meet held April 9-10 at Palestine High School.
Fairfield girls finished in first with 239.5 points, Mexia second with 118, Palestine third with 116, Groesbeck fourth with 85.5 and Rusk fifth with 28.
The Palestine boys varsity track team finished first overall with 214.5 points, Mexia second with 143.5, Fairfield third with 121, Rusk fourth with 71 and Groesbeck fifth with 52.
