Funeral services for Jeremy Dyrone Henderson will be held Saturday, May 17, at 11 a.m., at Lone Star Baptist Church, 629 Grayson St. in Groesbeck. Visitation will be held Friday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Pearly Gates Funeral Home in Mexia. Eulogist will be Pastor Nathaniel Bedford. Burial takes place at Jerusalem Cemetery in Teague .
Jeremy Henderson was born Oct. 6, 1987 in Groesbeck, to Robert and Shirley Henderson. He departed this life May 7, 2014 at his home with his loving wife by his side.
Henderson attended Groesbeck ISD schools. He worked at Groesbeck LTC as a cook until his health failed.
Dyrone, as he was called by family and friends, was preceded in death by his two grandmothers, two grandfathers and one sister, Cathy Ann Wickware.
He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Robert Henderson, and mother, Shirley Henderson, both of Groesbeck; his wife, Monique Henderson; one daughter, Unique Henderson; two sisters, Bridgette Henderson and Samantha (John) Miles of Groesbeck; two brothers, André Henderson of Houston and Jermaine (Katyherine) Wickware of Nacogdoches; uncles, Clyde (Pat) Henderson of Houston and Billy (Mattie) Henderson of Houston; aunts, Rene (Fil) Tave of Houston, and Elaine Thomas and Evelyn Hendricks, both of Groesbeck; nieces, Chantà Shanice, Katherine, Brèonna, Eboni, Hanah and Kiara; nephews, Chris, Markus (Ron , Terell, Jalil, D`Andre, Kahaafid, Babar and Jalen; special acknowledgements to Lyvon (Vic) Carroll, mother-in-law; Mark Washington, brother-in-law; Trivia Carroll, sister-in-law; and a special cousin, LeFredric Thomas, as well as a host of cousins, friends and classmates.
