On Thursday, May 29, senior Bre Stoner signed her letter of intent in a ceremony held at the Mexia High School library, in front of her friends, teammates, coaches and guests.
Stoner, who has also been a standout in track and softball, was an integral part of the 2012-13 team that ended up winning the Class 3A Girls Basketball State Championship.
This past season, Stoner was out early due to a knee injury but returned to the floor midway through the Teague Tournament in December of 2013.
