One of the most electrifying point guards in Mexia Ladycats basketball history has signed to continue her career at Jacksonville College in Jacksonville, Texas.
On Thursday, May 29, senior Bre Stoner signed her letter of intent in a ceremony held at the Mexia High School library, in front of her friends, teammates, coaches and guests.
Stoner, who has also been a standout in track and softball, was an integral part of the 2012-13 team that ended up winning the Class 3A Girls Basketball State Championship.
This past season, Stoner was out early due to a knee injury but returned to the floor midway through the Teague Tournament in December of 2013.
