Vuong named valedictorian of class of 2014

Mexia High School seniors are winding down the 2014 school year with preparations for commencement services.
Baccalaureate services were held in the Mexia High School auditorium at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 1. The graduation ceremony will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, June 6 at Blackcat Stadium Football Field.
The Class of 2014 Valedictorian is Hoa Vuong. Hoa is the son of Hoi Vuong and Lang Tran. He plans to attend the University of Houston.
The Class of 2014 Salutatorian is Zane Kantor. Zane is the son of Ted and Dr. Anna Kantor. He plans to attend Texas A&M University.
The Class of 2014 Top 10 percent are Victoria Kay Carroll, Sarah Lydia Contreras, Reyna Mercedes Escobedo, Tasia Irvin, Edmund Zane Kantor, Keandre Lamarquist Montgomery, Ling Shan Ni, Nemesis O. Robles, Taylor Threat, Adriana Venegas, Hoa Dang Vuong, Brady Colton Walker, and Mia De’Layna Wells.
