Michael 'Mike' Van White
Michael "Mike" Van White died June 23, 2015.
He was born Jan. 13, 1963, in Groesbeck, the son of Rev. Maurice and Mamie Frazier.
Michael graduated in 1981 from Sunset High School in Dallas.
Michael was employed at the Stouffer Hotel in Dallas for 22 years. Later he moved to Mexia, where he was employed at the Mexia State Supported Living Center until his passing.
Michael enjoyed being with his family and working with his friends at the Mexia State Supported Living Center. He loved to watch the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Mavericks on television.
Michael leaves to cherish to his memory his parents, Rev. Maurice and Mamie Frazier of Mexia; three brothers, James (Ricky) and Laura White, of Portland, Ore., Leonard White of Duncanville and Maurice (Daon) and Linsie Frazier of Killeen: one sister, Vickie Gibson of Waco; eight nephews and nieces; two uncles, Henry Lee (Evelyn) Lockhart and Wilmer (Jr.) Gibson of Groesbeck, and a plethora of other relatives and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by several other relatives and friends.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 28 at Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church, 629 N. Grayson in Groesbeck, Nathaniel Bedford, pastor, and Rev. Harold Brewer officiating. Interment was at Lone Star Cemetery in Groesbeck.
