A new season, a new attitude and a new coach seems to have the Ladycats volleyball team excited this year as they prepare for the upcoming season that starts next week.
Kamol Nohe will take over the program from former coach Sherri Cain, who took a position at the end of the school year with another independent school district in south Texas.
Nohe has an impressive resume coming in, coaching at Lorena and Moody and also coaching club volleyball in Waco. He has also coached soccer at Waco High and Midway, guiding the later mentioned girl’s team to the final four of the state playoffs, but his focus is entirely on volleyball and getting the Mexia program back on track after a tough season in 2013.
