Yellowjackets get started, tough district ahead

The Coolidge Yellowjackets hit the practice field much like every high school football team did from around the state on Monday, partaking in drills and getting back into the groove.
Second year coach Randy Jones liked what he saw during Monday’s practice with the group of kids coming back from last season’s playoff team and expects they’ll make another trip this year since they only lost one player to graduation.
But there is one obstacle that could be a tough challenge for the Yellowjackets, maybe two, and that would be having Abbott and Milford in the district.
