11th annual Jason Ward Golf Tourney nearing

The 11th Annual Jason Ward Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Homecoming weekend - Saturday, Sept. 12, at Big Cedar Country Club, Highway 84 near Teague.
Tee-time for the 4-person scramble is 8:30 a.m. Since this scholarship program was established in memory of Jason, a graduate of Mexia High School, the annual golf tournament has provided $59,750 in scholarship funds to 56 deserving Mexia High School graduates.
Individual and corporate sponsor entries are available. A fajita lunch will be served to all players. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, as well as prizes to the lady and men golfer hitting the longest drive and closest to the hole.
