    Mrs. Callie Brown of Teague passed away in the Heritage Oaks Nursing Facility of Corsicana among loving family and devoted friends.  Viewing will begin at the Funeral Home  Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 from 10:00 AM-8:00 PM with visitation with the family from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the First Baptist Church, 209 N. 6th Street, Teague with Rev. Maurice Frazier and Rev. L. B. Perry officiating.  Interment will be in the Jerusalem Cemetery of Teague. 
    Mrs. Brown grew up and attended the public schools in the Avant Community east of Teague.  She was married to Nathaniel Brown, Sr. for nearly sixty years before he preceded her in death.
    Callie worked as a hosekeeper for various families in the Teague area.  She was a faithful member of the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Teague and served as secretary/treasurer for fifty plus years. 
    Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Gloria Grown Dixon, sister, two brothers, and one grandson, Derek Brown.          She is survived by:  Her children;  Nat Brown and wife, Brenda, dayton, OH; George  Brown and wife, Corothy, Kansas City, MO; Harold Blaine  Brown and wife, Ann, Winston Salem, NC; Homer Brown and wife, Dena, Houston, TX; Billy Lee Brown, Teague, TX; A Special Daughter-In-Law: Patricia brown, Dallas, TX; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family will lunch at the First Baptist Fellowship Hall following the services.  Pallbearers are:  Alan Brown, Billy Brown, Darron Brown, Jason Brown, Michael Brown and Percell Milton.  Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home, 406 Monroe Street, Teague, Texas is serving the Brown Family.  You are invited to sign the guestbook and light a candle on our website:  mooresangelicfuneralhome.com.
