Louise Kinsey, 97, passed away November 10, 2009 in Waco.  Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Presbyterian Church in Mexia.  Rev. Ken Lane and Rev. Tom Prentiss will officiate with interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Teague.
    Visitation with the family will be 4-6 p.m. Friday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home.
    Louise was born September 5, 1912 in Teague, Texas to J. D. and Nancy (Klein) Dempsey.  She was a longtime “Downtown Mexia Fixture” having been an employee of Eller’s Jewelry Store and Karner-Phillips Gift Shop for many years.  Louise was a very active member of the First Presbyterian Church, especially the church choir.  She was very devoted to her family and church.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Kinsey; son, Jerry Kinsey; granddaughter, Samantha Kinsey; and brother, James Dempsey.
    Louise is survived by her son, Jim Kinsey and wife, Dorann Kinsey of Waco; grandchildren, Ray Fannin and wife, Doris of Robinson, Dale Fannin of Robinson, Ken Kinsey and wife, Sherri of Weatherford, Joe Kinsey of Alabama, Eric Kinsey of Colorado, Austin Kinsey and Kaitlyn Kinsey of Shannon, MS.; six great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
    Pallbearers will be Ken Kinsey, Ray Fannin, Dale Fannin, Keith Helpert, Doug Jones and Alden Garber.
