Mexia Ladycats Gain Regional Semi-Finals

The Mexia ladycat volleyball team travelled to Eustace High School on Tuesday, Nov 10, to take on the Longview Spring Hill Lady Panthers in a regional quarterfinal match, with the winner moving on to the 3A - Region 3 regional volleyball tournament. Mexia won the match in 5 games, 25-27, 25-18, 25-17, 12-25, 15-6. The Mexia ladycat volleyball team will play the 8PM game at the Regional Tournament at Bryan High School in Bryan this Friday night, Nov 13. Mexia will play Cameron. The 6PM match will feature Carthage vs Caldwell. The two winners will meet on Saturday Nov 14, at 2PM in Bryan High School for the regional championship.
