Mexia Ladycat Volleyball Advances to 3A Region 3 Final

The Mexia ladycat volleyball team travelled to Bryan on Friday, Nov 13 to take on the Cameron Lady Yoe in the 3A Region 3 volleyball semi-finals. For the third time in these playoffs, Mexia started slowly and lost the first game. However, Mexia again showed their resilience and won the next 3 games for the 3-1 match victory. The scores were 16-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-22. Mexia will now play Caldwell today, Saturday, Nov 14 at 2PM in the same Bryan High School Gym. Caldwell was a winner over Carthage in the other region 3 semi-final played at Bryan. More details on this Cameron match will be in a future news article.
