Bistone Water Board to contract for audit

The Bistone Municipal Water Supply District’s board of directors will have its monthly meeting Monday night at 6 o’clock, and among agenda items is to make arrangements for the annual audit, this one on the financial books for fiscal-year 2009. Richard Sadler, Mexia Certified Public Accountant, will perform the audit.
In other action at the meeting, scheduled for the Lake Mexia Pavilion, 730 FM 2681, directors will take possible action on plats in the Cedar Subdivision, and review the annual report from the Lake Mexia Volunteer Fire Department. The board usually waives the annual fee on department facilities.
The board is also due to approve financial statements then vote to pay October bills, approve lot transfers and hear operational status reports. Among them is the monthly report of the District’s General Manager, Brent Locke.
