Mary Frances Nickels-Driver Obituary

Mary Frances Nickels-Driver, 81, of Mexia, passed away Dec. 26,.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Blair-Stubbs Chapel. The Rev. David Snow will officiate with interment to follow in Lost Prairie Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 6, 1928, in Lost Prairie, to Clarence Clay and Lillie Mae (Lummus) Holder. Prior to retirement, she worked for 30 years at the Mexia Textile Mill and 21 years at the Wortham Nursing Home. She devoted her life to working hard and caring for her family. She loved nothing more than her family and spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, O. E. Nickels, Sr. and William Driver; and brothers, Glynn Holder and Junior Holder.
Ms. Nickels-Driver is survived by her son, Jacky Nickels and wife, Debbie; daughter, Mary Ann Thornton and David Dunkin; grandchildren, LaJuana Thornton, Kevin and Jamie Nickels, Joshua and Jennifer Nickels; great-grandchildren, Candace Renae Carroll, Robyn Renee Nickels, Andy Clay Nickels and Joshua Jack Nickels; and nephew, Dewayne Holder.
Pallbearers will be Randy Wilson, Miles Owen, Rickey Dick, Billy Lee, Steve Coker and Jason Fox. Honorary pallbearer will be Dewayne Holder.
