Tilman Anderson Jr. Obituary

Funeral Services for Tilman Anderson,Jr. will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 26, at Greater Grace Church of God in Christ, 610 West Sabine in Groesbeck.
Visitation will be from 2 -- 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 25, at Pearly Gates Funeral Home in Mexia. Burial will be at Sandy Creek Cemetery located in Sandy. Eulogist will be Elder James C. Lucas.
Mr. Anderson was born on Feb. 3, 1935, to Tilman Anderson Sr. and Annie Mae Bibbs. He went to be with the Lord Dec. 15 at his residence in Crosby, with his loving family by his side. He was a caring and loving person who loved his family dearly. He also treasured his horses and he operated a bulldozer for many years. If you knew Mr. Anderson, you knew he never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tilman Anderson Sr. and Annie Mae Bibbs Quigley; siblings Lula Anderson, Dennis Quigley, Mattie McGee, Robert Bibbs and children, Vailma Anderson, Herbert Anderson and Anthony Anderson.
Those who will cherish his memories most are his six daughters: Madeline (Leophous) Walker, Mary (Charles) Bradley, Debra Ray, Sandra (Cleophous) McDonald, Kathy Gibson, Tillie Anderson; two sons: James Anderson and Tilman Anderson; two sisters: Lena Mae Calloway and MaEtta Bibbs; two brothers: Charles Bibbs and Daniel Bibbs; 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
