WORTHAM - The Wortham School Board, which has been discussing renovations and a building program for over a year, is far enough along with the proposed projects to discuss them with bond counsel.
Tom Sage of Vinson and Elkins bond counsel services' firm, will be in attendance to discuss ramifications of Wortham's situation, during a called board meeting set for 6:30 p.m. tonight (Tuesday) in the high school library.
Following discussion, trustees are due to approve a "letter of engagement" with Vinson and Elkins as the district's bond counsel.
In conjunction with proposed projects, the board will also have a discussion with Grant Dudley of an architectural firm hired by the district.
Trustees also will receive special recognition for School Board Appreciation Month.
