Bistone Water Board eyes bids

Renovations to the water system continues in the Bistone Municipall Water Supply District.

Tonight at 6 o’clock, the board of directors for the District meets at the Lake Mexia Pavilion, 730 FM 2681 to consider some bids in the ongoing renovations’ process.

The bids include parts of the continuing system updates for filter installations, blower installation and some “miscellaneous” system improvements.

In othef action, directors are to approve financial statements, vote to pay January bills, and hear operational status monthly reports, including that of the District’s General Manager, Brent Locke.

Locke will be appointed as the voting delegate for the 39th annual meeting and convention of the Texas Rural Water Association. An alternate delegate is also to be appointed at this evening’s meeting.
