Sports Banquets scheduled
The Girls All-Sports Banquet and the Boys Spring Sports Banquet are scheduled for next week, both to be held at the Mexia Junior High School cafetorium at 6:30.
The girls banquet is slated for Monday night, while the boys banquet is set for Tuesday night. Tickets for parents, fans, etc., may be purchased for $7 only at the door. No advance tickets are being sold.
Class of 1993 reunion
The Mexia High graduating Class of 1993 is planning for a 15-year reunion, but needs some “contact information,” according to Robin Laughon, whom you may contact at (214) 686-7178.

Mexia B&PW fundraiser
Mexia B&PW fundraiser The Mexia Business and Professional Women of Mexia are selling chances for a wonderful get-a-way weekend for two at the magnificent Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine.
The winner will be indulged with the Lone Star King Room, fresh flowers upon arrival, a bottle of wine or champagne, nightly turndown with rose petals, chocolate-covered strawberries, “his and hers” luxury bath robes, full breakfasts for two in your room or at the Riverwalk Cafe’, and an unlimited use of the fitness center with an indoor pool.
The resort is minutes away from the Grapevine Mills Mall and the Bass Pro Shop. Raffle tickets sell for a dollar each, or purchase six for $5. They may be bought from any B&PW member.
