Joins Mexia City Staff

Dee Lindvay has joined the City of Mexia staff as Executive Assistant to the City Manager. She succeeds Judy Jacobsen, left, who remains on the job through May 30. Dee worked for a year with the Bistone Municipal Water Supply District, was with the City of Lago Vista as Deputy City Secretary for approximately 15 years, and comes to Mexia from the Coolidge Independent School District, where she was high school Secretary for a year. She was born in Hawaii, where her father was with the U.S. Marine Corps. She and husband Matt are members of First Baptist Church. They have two daughters who will attend Mexia High School next school year. They are Nicole, who will be a freshman, and Cassy, who will be a sophomore. Dee's major hobbies are "spending time with my family, and we like to fish and hunt."
