NAACP free 3 ON 3 Basketball Tournament

The Limestone County NAACP will host a Free 3 on 3 back to school Youth Basketball Tournament, give away Free school supplies and have many more activities on Back to School Fun Day, Saturday August 16, 2008.

The Tournament will be at 220 West Main Street ( corner of Main and Belknap between Belknap and Preston Street ) on the new outside court. The Tournament is for all youth boys and girls. The grade divisions are the grade that the child will be, in August school year. The grade divisions are 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12. Get your four player teams together and signup today. There will also be Long Range shooting Contest, Talent Show, 100 meter race contest, Professional Speakers, Youth accomplishments recognitions, Music and much more. You may signup by coming to the court across the street at the Center office and see Mr. Joe David, Monday through Friday from 9am-11am or call 562-2926 or contact Ella Busby at 310 N. Brook street Mon- Fri from 2:30pm-5:30pm or call 562-2741. The Tournament and other events will begin at 10am and teams may signup the morning of the Tournament from 8am-9:45am. All youth Parent’s must fill out the Parents Waiver form before they are allowed to enter any event.

Everyone come out and enjoy the Free Fun Day and back to school events and get your Free school supplies. Let’s fill the Street with Youth as we encourage them to, Go to School and Stay in School. This is a Free event for all youth grades Kindergarten thru 12th grade in Limestone County. Volunteers are needed to help with the event. If you are interested call one of the numbers and signup.
