Willard Gilbert Perry

Funeral services for Mr. Willard Gilbert (Sonny Boy) Perry will be held Sunday afternoon, July 27, 2008, at Antioch Baptist Church, with Pastor Cleo High officiating. Pastor Lewis Brown will be the Eulogist.

Visitation was scheduled for today (Saturday) from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Pearly Gates Funeral Home.

Mr. Perry was born to Cleophus Perry and Azeline Perry on July 20, 1936, in Mexia, Texas. He answered his call on July 22, 2008, in Laurenwoo Nursing Home in Duncanville, Texas. He attended Douglass Elementary and Dunbar High School, both in Mexia, Texas.

He enjoyed playing football, fishing, truck driving, and loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Cleophus Perry and Azeline Perry, by three brothers and a sister.

Those who will cherish his memories most are his wife, Mrs. Carrie Perry of Dallas; daughters - Birdeetra Chappell Perry of Plains, DyJuana-Sm, Paulette Smith of Dallas, Pauline Keh and husband Thomas of Arlington; a son, Victor Smith of Dallas; a sister, Charlene Madden and husband Joe of Fort Worth; a very special niece, Min. Wilma Brewer Smith and husband James of Mexia; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pearly Gates Funeral Home is in charge of the services for Mr. Willard Gilbert Perry.

Carl Ray

Lutz, Jr.

A celebration of the life of Carl Ray Lutz, Jr., 56, of Melissa, TX, (formerly of Muskogee, OK) will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 26,

2008 at the Bradley Belltower Chapel with Brother Keith Cagle officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery with Ronnie Talbot, Ricky Carbone, James Richardson and Bill Groth serving as pallbearers.

Carl passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008. He was born October 31, 1951 in Claremore, OK to Carl Lutz, Sr. and Rosa Mae (Cagle) Lutz. Carl graduated from Catoosa High School and earned his bachelors degree from Northeastern Oklahoma State University and his masters degree from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX. Carl married his best friend, Carol M. Melson, June 23, 1979. His career in health care administration took him throughout many parts of Texas. He was an avid bass fisherman and enjoyed playing golf in his spare time.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carol of the home; his father, Carl Lutz, Sr. of Pryor, OK; his brother & sister-in-law, Monty & Vicki Lutz of Pryor, OK; two nephews, one niece; three great nieces, one great nephew and many friends. Carl was preceded in death by his mother.

The family has entrusted Bradley Family Funeral Service of Muskogee with the arrangements.

Nadine Lowry

Mrs. Nadine Lowry, 83, of Coolidge passed away July 24, 2008 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be 4:30 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Coolidge. Rev. Larry Holden and Rev. Chuck Sturgeon will officiate with interment to follow in the Tehuacana Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be 6 - 8 p.m. Saturday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lowry was born to Mack Mackinley and Agnes Irene (Williamson) Fisher in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 30, 1924. She was a devoted wife and loving Mother of five children. She, also, owned and operated a beauty shop in her home. Mrs. Lowry was a longtime resident of Coolidge. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Dr. W. H. Lowry and wife, Cynthia of Coolidge; two daughters: Joan Teel and husband, Randy of Mexia, Patsy Moore and husband, Bill of Mexia; eight grandchildren: Bret, Bart, Chance and Dale Lowry, Kimbra Brininstool, Harvey Harrison, Jason Teel, Rhonda Gray and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Pink Archer, husband, Floyd Lowry in 1995, two sons, four brothers and 1 sister.

Pallbearers will be Bret Lowry, Bart Lowry, Chance Lowry, Dale Lowry, Harvey Harrison and Jason Teel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Coolidge.
