Quentin Shane Cooper, 17, of Gulf Breeze, Fla. passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 4:12 a.m., after a long battle with liver cancer.
Quentin graduated with the Gulf Breeze High School Class of 2013 and loved skateboarding, baseball, video games and hanging out with his friends. He also worked at Funny Cars on Pensacola Beach.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah Walker and John Cooper; and great-grandparents, Faye (Clea) Myers and L.C. (John) Cooper.
He is survived by his parents, Trina (Chris) Turner, and John (Tracy) Cooper; grandparents; Chuck Walker, Sandy (Doyle) Lee and Bea Turner; uncles, Mark Walker and Greg Turner; aunts, Ofelia Walker and Lisa Turner; cousin Madyssen Walker; stepbrothers, Daniel and Brent Turner; stepsisters, Chancey and Kennah Craig, and numerous relatives and friends.
There will be a time of visitation at St. Ann’s Catholic Church from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 29. Funeral services follow at 7 p.m.. Burial will take place in Groesbeck at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 1, in Wilson Chapel Cemetery.

Quentin touched every person he came in contact with, each in their own way. His legacy will live on through our memories and the future Quentin Cooper Liver Life 5K.
