Eleanor Love Jones

The angelic hosts came for Eleanor Love Jones, "Sister Ross," on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in the Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.
Viewing was held Friday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Moore's Angelic Funeral Home, 406 Monroe St. in Teague. The family did not plan a wake or visitation. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 15, at 1 p.m. in the Titus Chapel United Methodist Church, 301 FM 1365 in Teague. Viewing was held from noon to 1 p.m., when the service began. Interment was at Grayson Chapel Cemetery, 235 FM 1365 in Teague.
Eleanor “ Sister” Ross was the second child of Emery and Areatha Ross. She was born April 1, 1932 in Freestone County. She grew up in the Furney Richardson Community and attended the public schools there.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Areatha Ross; a brother, Royell Ross; and two grandsons, Marcus Love and Zachary Love.
She leaves to cherish her memory her father, Emery Ross of Teague; three sons, Edward (Kathy) Love of Cedar Hill, Aaron (Carla) Love of Dallas, and John Wayne Love of Teague; four daughters, Carroll Ann Love of Denver, Colo., Benell Reed of Westminster, Calif., Priscilla Tatum of Fort Worth, and Charlene Love McDonald of Teague; three brothers, Robert Earl (Rose) Ross of Fairfield, William (Lorriane) Ross of Dallas, and Scip (Alice) Ross of Cedar Hill; two sisters, Patricia Bostic and Barbara Heggins, both of Teague, 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a special friend and loving cousin, Juanice Sanford and a host of nieces, nephews and other family.
Active pallbearers were Cedric Love, Kendall Love, Ricky McDonald, Brandon Tatum, Devion Love, Rodrick Vann, Daniel Sandles III, Antonio Heggins, John Ferguson and Michael Bostic.
Honorary pallbearers were Robert Earl Ross, McKenzie Jackson, William Ross, Charlie Baker, Scip Ross, Rufus Jackson and Johnny Howard.
