Pansy Pauline Wiggins Reeder

Pansy Pauline Wiggins Reeder, 73, of Mexia, passed away June 29, 2013 at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 2, at 11 a.m. at Porter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Wright Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Mexia Cemetery. Family visitation will be Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Reeder was born July 3, 1939 in Knox City, to Alvin and Edith Irene Wiggins. Pansy never met a stranger, which is probably why she chose the job fields she had. Pansy was a waitress at a young age in Plainview at New Griddle. Then onto Woolworth as a sales clerk and finished up her working career at Walmart, where she retired. She loved the public and talking to anyone she ever came across.
She met Carol Reeder and they married on Dec. 2, 1960. He was the love of her life until his death. They had been in Mexia since May 22, 1975.
Pansy was preceded in death by her husband, Carol; parents; sisters, Lois and Juanita Wiggins and brothers, Lee Wayne and Ernest Wiggins.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Margie Wiggins of Groesbeck; nieces, Polly Macias and husband Xavier, of Groesbeck and Jennifer Nichols and husband Douglas, of Brenham; nephew, Ernest Wiggins Jr. and wife Susan, of Maryville, Tenn.
Serving as pallbearers are Steve Taylor, Doug Nichols, Xavier Macias and Ed Wiggins.
Now Hoss and Snowball (as Pansy and Carol called each other) can live happily ever after inside the Pearly Gates.
