Navarro College Roundup

The Bulldogs have hired former Trinity Valley Community College women’s basketball coach, Michael Landers, to take over the men’s program after the departure of Johnny Estelle.
Landers coached the Lady Cardinals from 2000-2009 and 2010-12. He led his teams to two national championships and two undefeated seasons during his tenure, posting a 335-39 record while coaching there. He served as co-coach with his wife, Kenya, during the 2011-12 season, in which the Lady Cardinals won the national championship.
Overall, Landers career win/loss record is 436-61 covering his most recent years and stints as coach at East Texas Baptist University and Baton Rouge Community College.
