Hundreds of area youth to ‘reset’ themselves

Hundreds of local high school and junior high students are planning to hit the reset button on their lives by attending First Baptist Church’s Reset Weekend Feb. 7-9.

The event is sponsored by the Baptist churches of Mexia, Groesbeck, Wortham and Coolidge but is open to sixth through 12th graders of all denominations.

Youth Pastor Kevin Jones is directing the event and expects 300-400 teens, more than a hundred from Mexia alone.

All those attending will stay at host homes in Mexia, even those who live in Mexia, so the experience is the same for all those attending.
