Mexia students with a talent they are willing to share – and who want to possibly win as much as $500 in prizes – are invited to try out for the 59th Annual Rotary Club of Mexia Talent Show.

Auditions will be held in about two weeks, with high school-age students trying out at Mexia High School Auditorium on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 3:45 p.m.; junior high youth, grades 6-8, at Mexia Junior High cafetorium on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at 3:45 p.m.; and elementary and intermediate school-age children, grades K-5, at A.B. McBay Elementary School’s music room by the cafeteria on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 3:30 p.m.

Rotary representative Jennifer Lynch, who is directing the show this year, said the judges are looking for a variety of talent from any age, kindergarten through 12th grade.
