Sybil Laningham Bryant

Funeral services for Sybil Laningham Bryant will be held Friday, March 14, at 10 a.m. at the chapel building at Wilson Chapel Cemetery near Donie. Gene Fambrough will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Wilson Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 9 a.m. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Bryant, 92, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014, in College Station. She was born and raised in Freestone County and worked for the Mexia State School for several years, but was an accomplished seamstress for most of her life. Bryant sewed countless garments for several generations of her family through the years. She enjoyed fishing and was a great cook. Bryant was a member of the Church of Christ.
Bryant was preceded in death by her husbands, Marvin Laningham and Jack Bryant, and one daughter, Kathryn Outlaw.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Laningham and wife Marion of The Woodlands and Tom Laningham and wife Marcia of College Station; nine granddaughters; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
