Beverly Ann Wallace

Beverly Ann Wallace, 72, of Mexia, passed away May 13, 2014 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 16, at 2 p.m. at Porter Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mary Wilburn officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery, near Teague. Family visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Wallace was born Oct. 12, 1941 in Pilot Point, to Dr. Jesse F. Baker and Evelyn M. Henry. She had been in the community for more than 50 years. She worked at the sewing factory here in Mexia in the 1970s, and then spent many years working at Charlie’s Exxon.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny Alldredge; and daughter, Karla Alldredge.
She is survived by her husband, Wesley D. Wallace of Mexia; sons, Bobby Carpenter and family of Tehuacana and John Alldredge and family of Waco; daughters, Becky Lloyd and family of Mexia and Debbie Price and family of Mexia; stepdaughter, Nichole Burns and family of Mexia; brother and sister-in-law, Gaylon and Ruth Hall of Teague; brother, Tommy Baker and family; three nephews; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers are Neal Robertson, Gaylon Hall, Lynn Hall, Russell Hall, Kevin Nickels, Robert Coleman, Don Holloway and Joey Alford. Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Lloyd, J.W. Alldredge, Joey Alford Sr., Chris Matthews, Clayton Davis, Robert Carpenter and Kealan Robertson.
