Thanks for everything!

The Kosse First United Methodist Church’s 35th annual Fall Bazaar was blessed with beautiful weather, fellowship and friends and a very successful day. Thanks to all of you who attended the Bazaar and to all the businesses and friends who made it possible with donations to the auctions, raffle, country store, kitchen, white elephant and craft tables and the bakers, canners, cooks, workers and the businesses that displayed our signs and to the newspaper for telling our story.
We would also like to thank auctioneer John McCarver for entertaining us as he promoted each item. The bazaar wouldn’t be possible without all of you. There are no adequate words to express our thanks and gratitude for your amazing generosity.
We had some happy door prize and raffle winners. The parts rack was won by Bobby Beseda; $100 H-E-B card by Mary Rand; foot massager by Doug Kay; and John Wesley Lauderdale won the $100 Shell card. Bubba Stone won the popup canopy and the $100 Brookshire’s card. The electric chainsaw was won by Ronnie Pettigrew. George Madock won the $200 Walmart card and Cookie Mushinski won the queen-sized quilt. Phil Koester won the Kosse Country Store $100 card, Karen Partin won the Texas hat rack and Holly Hubbard won the $500 VISA card. Congratulations to all of you and the many door prize winners.
It was a joy for us to visit with friends and family from the surrounding area, all over Texas, out of state and to make some new friends, too. We hope you enjoyed the day and we look forward to seeing you again next year.
