Sheriff’s Office dispatchers honored

Limestone County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers were recognized at commissioners court for the service they provide in emergencies.
Four Dispatch Department employees – Sheila Shockley, Jessie Barton, Kit Waldrop and Sgt. William Barton – representing all the county tele-communicators, appeared at the court’s April 11 meeting.
County Judge Daniel Burkeen read a proclamation the court issued making that week – April 9-15 – National Public Safety Tele-communications Week in Limestone County.
