Frazier was born on Dec. 21, 1943 in Groesbeck to Freddie Medlock and Minnie Lee Williams. She grew up in Groesbeck and attended public  school there. On Sept. 3, 1971, Mamie and Maurice Frazier were married in Dallas where they raised their five children. They were active and faithful members of Greater Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas under the pastorate of the late Rev. L. C. Jones, Sr.
They moved back to Groesbeck where Frazier worked as a health care aide for the Gurling Home Health Agency and the Groesbeck Medical Center. Frazier was also employed at the Mexia State Supported Living Center where she retired after many years of loyal service.
The Fraziers moved from Groesbeck to Mexia where Mamie served as a volunteer for CARATAS. She had a passion for taking care of others, and always had a positive outlook in any situation.
She was a faithful member of Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church, Groesbeck where she served as the children’s Sunday school teacher and member of the Lone Star Mission Society. She helped wherever needed in the church and thoroughly enjoyed working in the food service area of the church. She truly loved the Lord. Mamie did not hesitate to tell others of God’s goodness and mercy.
Mamie’s parents, one son, three brothers and two sister preceded her in death.
Frazier is survived by her husband of 46 years: Rev. Maurice Frazier, Mexia; three sons: James “Rickie” White and wife Lori of Portland, Ore.; Leonard White and Jackie of Duncanville; Maurice Daon Frazier and wife Linsie of Killeen; one daughter: Vickie Bell and husband Kevin of Waco; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two brothers: Henry Lee Lockhart and wife Evelyn of Petersburg, Va. and Wilmer Gibson, Jr. of Groesbeck; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
