Adrian Yepez: Dreams Texas size

Going from being a seasonal assistant athletic trainer for the NFL’s New England Patriots Super Bowl team, to a small Texas high school football team might seem like a demotion to some, but for new Mexia Blackcat athletic trainer Adrian Yepez - he’s living his dream of being a part of the Lone Star state’s biggest tradition.
After spending last season being a part of professional football’s most successful team, Yepez decided it was time to move on and pursue moving to Texas. He began putting out resumes to high school programs across the state.
However, deep down, he wanted to be in a small locale, to get a sense of community and that small-town pride.
Eventually that dream came true as he received a call from new Mexia Blackcat athletic director/head football coach, Frank Sandoval.
