James Albert Adams

James Albert Adams “Apple Jack” was born to the parentage of Alice S. Adams and Percy Lee Jackson on March 9, 1969 in Mexia. He received his formal education from Mexia ISD and graduated from Gary job Corps in San Marcos. James was employed for several years with Golden Corral and Drilling Rig restaurants until his health failed. He had a very unique way of making others feel important as well as special with his infectious smile and caring and giving ways. He loved watching TV especially football and Empire. James accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. 
He was preceded in death by his parents Alice S. Adams and Percy Lee Jackson; grandparents, Katherine Adams Newsom and Willie Newsom.
He leaves to cherish his memories: four sisters, Sharon R. Garden, Tina D. Johnson, both of Mexia, Veronica K. Adams of Teague, and Leah Jackson Dowell of Fairfield; two brothers, Pastor Victor (Rita) Adams and Cedric R. (Juanita) Adams of Georgetown and a very special friend of 30 plus years, Greg Nemons.
Service for Adams was held on Sept. 2 at Westside Church of Christ.
