Limestone County commissioners took time at their Oct. 10 meeting to recognize two Limestone County home-schooled 4-H students – Sarah Hall and Isaac Lewis – for being awarded the 4-H Gold Star Award.
The court had mentioned one of the Gold Star winners at a previous meeting, but with the award material in, the court made a more formal presentation of the awards to both winners.
AgriLife Extension Agent Gabby Washington made the presentation, describing the two students as worthy of the honor they received.
“They have shown citizenship, leadership and project experience,” Washington said.
