Mexia Independent School District Board member David Klosterman has announced his immediate resignation.
“Effective today, I am officially announcing my resignation from the Mexia ISD School Board due to personal reasons and relocation,” said Klosterman in a interview with the Mexia News. “I’ve enjoyed my time on the school board and appreciate every one’s support during the election and though my tenure. I’ve seen a drastic change in our school district in the last year and a half and I fully trust that the board and administration will keep going in the right direction.”
Klosterman was elected to the board to trustees in 2016.
“Mexia ISD wishes Mr. Klosterman well as he steps away from the Board. During Mr. Klosterman’s tenure we have had the opportunity to accomplish great things in Mexia ISD,” said Mexia ISD Superintendent, Lyle DuBus.
