Jonesboro race past Coolidge 48-12

The Coolidge Yellowjackets traveled to Pruitt Field in Jonesboro Friday night and limped home on the short end of 48-12 score.
Jonesboro was led by Wyatt Young on offense and defense as the Eagles controlled the line of scrimmage.
Young scored the first touchdown of the game for Jonesboro on a two-yard run.
The Eagles added two more TDs on runs of five and nine yards to go up 20-0 by the close of the first quarter of play.
In the second, Jonesboro scored the lone touchdown of the quarter on a 31-yard run, taking a 26-0 lead into the half.
The second half of the game was played more evenly by the two teams.
The Eagles came out in the third quarter and scored on a 22-yard touchdown run to increase their advantage to 34-0 after converting the two-point kick.
